Summary
Kaieda serves as the principal of Hinamizawa School, making his debut in Onikakushi-hen. In Minagoroshi-hen, he assists Keiichi and the Club by persuading the youth office to rescue Satoko from her abusive uncle, Hōjō Teppei. A scene in Onikakushi-hen reveals that he harbors shame regarding his bald head. Having traveled the globe to master martial arts, he later pursued education after becoming disheartened by the corrupted system in post-war Japan. The student body believes his presence is the reason delinquents avoid attending Hinamizawa’s school.
