Hendric, Azmaria

Summary

Born on March 12, 1914, Azmaria Hendric is a twelve-year-old girl from Fatima, Portugal, who stands at 141 cm tall and weighs 37 kg. Her parents both died in World War I, leading her to travel across the United States with a group of singers before being adopted by Ricardo Hendric. Ricardo, a demon tamer, sought to exploit her unique abilities to resurrect his deceased wife, Melda. This tragic circumstance turned her supernatural powers into a source of despair and tragedy, shaping her into a quiet, peaceful, and highly submissive individual who is afraid to fight for herself. Although she is only twelve, she displays remarkable maturity, often acting as a mediator to help her friends get along. Azmaria possesses a beautiful soprano voice with healing properties, and she is recognized as one of the seven heavenly apostles, specifically the apostle of charity. Her life changed dramatically when she was rescued by Rosette and Chrno and subsequently taken in by the Magdalan Order for her safety. She holds a deep admiration for Rosette, looking up to her as a role model, and maintains a friendly relationship with Chrno, who is a demon, without any prejudice. Meeting them was a turning point that inspired her to overcome her weakness and strive to become as brave as Rosette. She dislikes ghosts and finds joy in singing, often expressing herself with her favorite word, "Sorry!"
