Summary
Although Mouryoumaru is technically an enemy of Naraku, he was indirectly created by the demon lord’s powers through Hakudoshi. This massive demonic golem stands one hundred feet tall and possesses the ability to fire energy blasts from its arm. Initially, he exists as a mere life force puppet composed of youkai, devoid of any true personality, soul, or will. However, Kanna places The Infant inside him, endowing Moryomaru with Naraku’s physical life force. As he consumes various youkai to absorb their abilities, Moryomaru grows significantly stronger, nearly defeating a combined assault from most of Naraku’s adversaries, including Kikyo, Kohaku, Kagome, InuYasha, Miroku, Sango, Shippo, and Sesshomaru. During the battle, he succeeds in breaking Sesshomaru’s sword but retreats after nearly losing a shard of the Shikon Jewel. His life ends when he attempts to devour Naraku, only for Naraku to absorb his power from within and use it to achieve rebirth.
