Summary
In the manga adaptation, this character serves as a balding, overweight lieutenant within the Tokugawa clan, functioning merely as a stand-in for the historical figure. His role ends when he is executed by the real Tokugawa Ieyasu after his true identity is exposed. Conversely, in the anime version, the character is the actual Tokugawa Ieyasu, who had long since passed away and was resurrected as Kenyou under the control of Santera. He ultimately meets his end at the hands of his son, Hidetada, who is known as Benitora.
