Summary

Once a high-ranking military officer, Daryun suffers a demotion at the start of the anime and is assigned to protect and serve Arslan. The two quickly forge a deep friendship, with Daryun demonstrating unwavering loyalty characteristic of a samurai. He openly declares to Arslan that regardless of his true origins, he considers him his rightful prince. His combat prowess is so legendary that Prince Rajendra once hailed Daryun as the greatest warrior in both Pars and Shindra.
