Summary
Sakurako Yukihira is a seventeen-year-old second-year student at DDS who has already established herself as a celebrated mystery novelist while still in high school. Although she initially aspired solely to be a writer rather than a detective, she has achieved remarkable success, receiving her first police award as early as third grade. She is the niece of Morihiko Dan, a fact she deliberately downplays to ensure her rise within DDS is recognized on her own merits. Fiercely competitive and outwardly stern toward both herself and others, she possesses a hot-headed nature that she often keeps hidden from casual observers. She shares a friendly rivalry with Kyu, the only person aware of her familial connection to Dan, and it is suggested that she may harbor romantic feelings for him. Additionally, she maintains close friendships with Megu and Kuniko.
