Summary
During his mountain training, Baki encountered a nine-foot-tall simian yasha known for leaving warriors who challenged it missing. The beast proved formidable, managing to injure Ando with his axe despite taking a blow from the weapon. In their rematch, Baki gouged out the creature's eye, which it subsequently ate, before ultimately defeating it. The ape displayed a docile nature, fighting only for survival, and showed Baki a sign of respect upon his loss. It was later revealed that Yujiro had killed the Yasha Ape's wife, prompting Baki to return her skull as a gesture of honor. In exchange, the ape gifted Baki one of his fangs and disclosed that he was raising three children alone. However, Yujiro later murdered the ape and presented its head to Baki. This victory marked Baki's first fight following his attainment of near-death concentration.
