Nishina, Toriko
Summary
Toriko is an enigmatic girl Sorawo encounters in the Otherside. She recruits Sorawo to accompany her on expeditions, offering payment in return for assistance in finding her mentor, Satsuki, who disappeared during a solo journey into the liminal space. Though she appears frivolous and skilled with firearms and survival skills, Toriko possesses a keen intuition for Sorawo’s emotional state and handles others’ histories with tact, despite often seeming blunt or insensitive toward acquaintances. Following an encounter with a Kunekune, her left hand becomes translucently blue, granting her the ability to grasp incorporeal entities and portals that Sorawo has targeted with her right eye. She typically conceals the anomaly with a glove to avoid suspicion. Later, she notes that the limb can bleed if she sustains a cut.
