Summary
Zakuro is a youkai man sent by Gyokumen Koushu to eliminate the Sanzo Ikkou. He possesses youkai power within his distinctive eyes and uses hypnotic words to trap his foes. Beyond his questionable fashion sense, which includes leather pants, and his tendency to speak in a hopelessly dramatic manner while talking to himself, he lacks direction and any redeeming qualities. Despite these flaws, he remains a character worth loving. Although his skilled hypnosis was eventually broken by Sanzo and the others, he is surprisingly adept at running away.
