Summary

Noriaki Kakyouin is a 17-year-old male student with type A blood who stands 178 cm tall. He possesses the Stand Hierophant Green, which is capable of launching long-range assaults and unleashing an energy attack called Emerald Splash. Originally from Japan, he traveled to Egypt where Dio Brando detected his Stand abilities and requested a demonstration, which quickly escalated into a battle. Following this encounter, Dio used buds derived from his own cells to brainwash Kakyouin, enslaving him to the mission of killing Joutarou Kuujou. The specific method of his attack on Joutarou varies depending on the medium. In the manga and associated video games, the confrontation takes place within a school clinic. Conversely, in the OVA adaptation, Kakyouin attacks by possessing the body of a female student using his Stand. Eventually, Joutarou realizes that Kakyouin is under Dio’s control. Demonstrating remarkable precision and risk, Joutarou employs his own Stand, Star Platinum, to extract the control buds from Kakyouin’s head. This dangerous procedure successfully frees Kakyouin from Dio’s influence. Grateful for his liberation, Kakyouin decides to accompany Joutarou on his journey through Egypt to rescue Holy and defeat Dio. Despite his involvement in deadly conflicts, Kakyouin maintains a calm and collected demeanor. He is frequently seen alongside Joutarou, always dressed in his signature green school uniform. Although he projects an aloof, above-it-all attitude and often wears a smile, he remains humble and is known to make occasional crude jokes to lighten the mood among his nakama.
