Summary

With student number 2 and a birthday on June 1, 1988, Yuuna Akashi is a spirited athlete known for playing basketball. She is frequently seen with her nakama Makie, Ako, and Akira, forming the Sports clubs group. As the daughter of Professor Akashi, a Mage-teacher at the Academy, she is considered the most mischievous member of her group. Her pactio items include basketballs and a pair of shoes that grant her the ability to jump exceptionally high. Her surname is derived from the Japanese city of Akashi in Hyōgo Prefecture. While the manga depicts her with black hair, the anime adaptations show her with brown tones; specifically, her hair appears sandy taupe in Mahou Sensei Negima! and standard brown in Negima?.
