Jackal's Spirit
Summary
The Jackal's Spirit is the ethereal essence of the pistol bearing his name, a fact exposed during one of Alucard's dreams in volume 5. In this vision, the spirit manifests as Bruce Willis, while the character Edward Fox appears as the Jackal himself. During the dream sequence, the Jackal successfully eliminates the actor playing Bruce Willis, whom the narrative notes is criticized for his role in a remake. He then issues a warning to Alucard, stating that he allowed the imposter to get too close.
