Kandachi

Summary

Kandachi, a rogue ninja hailing from Amegakure, once served as Hanzō’s most trusted subordinate. Following the death of Hanzō at the hands of Pain, Kandachi led a faction of Ame ninja into exile, seizing control of a remote village shielded by a unique magnetic field. This field interferes with chakra flow to the brain, creating an effect akin to genjutsu. Resembling his former leader in combat style, Kandachi relies heavily on the Summoning Technique, specifically commanding the Conch King through hand seals that signal specific abilities. He possesses the rare capability to impose genjutsu on foes via the Conch King, an effect amplified by the tree’s magnetic field which disrupts chakra circulation. Additionally, he can direct the Conch King to rise above water using Wind Release. When Jiraiya brought Naruto Uzumaki to the forest for training, they met Tanishi, who revealed Kandachi’s occupation of the area. Naruto, disguised as Tanishi, and Jiraiya, feigning capture, confronted Kandachi, who was startled to see Jiraiya again. The ruse unraveled when the real Tanishi arrived, prompting Kandachi to order the villagers fed to the Conch King. Although Naruto engaged both Kandachi and the summoned beast, their combined techniques repeatedly overpowered him. Ultimately, Naruto secured victory by defeating them both with his first Great Ball Rasengan.
