Summary
Yuusuke is a fisherman residing in the Land of Fire. In his childhood, he and his father attempted to reel in a giant summoned marlin, but the effort failed and resulted in his father's death. This tragedy fueled Yuusuke's determination to avenge his father by finally catching the creature. His character design was inspired by his voice actor, Yuusuke Kamiji, who also sang Otakebi, the theme song for the Naruto Shippūden movie Blood Prison, which premiered just before Yuusuke made his anime debut.
