Summary
Rairen is a tall and stocky humanoid Shuuki who stands at 175 cm, making him taller than Jouryuu. He possesses a less human appearance than both Jouryuu and Shikoku, resembling a typical humanoid Shuuki with a face that resembles an almost gold mask in the manga and white in the anime series. He typically wears Japanese battle-styled clothing featuring a black left side and a white right side, along with long sleeves, gauntlets, black chest armor with white outlines, and a half-black-half-white hat. Rairen takes great pride in his strength, believing he can handle the Chiefs and viewing them as obsolete. He considers all humans, including the women of the Anti-Demon Corps, to be beneath the Hachiraishin and wishes to eliminate them quickly. He has also demanded that Shikoku stop referring to themselves as "people" to avoid placing them in the same category as humans.
