Summary

Ryousuke Sugano served as a central antagonist in Oshi no Ko, driven by an obsessive devotion to the idol Ai Hoshino. He was a mentally unstable shut-in who relied on idols to feel loved, a fixation made evident by his room filled with Ai's posters. This obsession shattered when he discovered that Ai had twin children, which he interpreted as a deception. This revelation caused him to snap, leading to two separate assassination attempts. In his first effort, he killed Gorou Amamiya after the doctor intervened to stop him before Ai gave birth. Although he initially failed, he succeeded on his second attempt, murdering Ai. However, upon realizing that Ai did not even remember his name, Ryousuke was struck by immediate regret that he could not process. Instead of facing the consequences, he fled the scene and ultimately committed suicide to avoid arrest.
