Summary
Short Vassal first appears in Episode 305. His story begins fifteen years prior when pirates invaded his kingdom, capturing five hundred soldiers as hostages. The pirate captain demanded that the monarch abdicate and name him the new king. As the desperate ruler prepared to accept this humiliating offer, a subject interrupted to announce the arrival of a government emissary. This emissary was revealed to be a thirteen-year-old Rob Lucci. The king was initially angered, believing the World Government was mocking them by sending a mere child to handle such a crisis. When the king approached Lucci and begged him to rescue the soldiers, the boy coldly instructed him not to question the ways of the World Government. This interaction left the king utterly confused; despite Lucci's young age, the monarch found himself filled with an overwhelming sense of terror in the boy's presence.
