Summary
Fritz Stanford serves as a member of the Aryan Socialist Union, a United States-based neo-Nazi faction that joined their leader Ratchman on a salvage mission near Jakarta, formerly known as Batavia. Their target was a painting titled 'The Twelve Knights Led by Brunhilda' by a minor German artist, located on the sunken wreck of the U-boat U-1324. The group found themselves in a conflict with Revy and Rock, as the Lagoon Company had been hired by the same client, former SS officer Lord Alfred, to retrieve the same artwork. Stanford is a tall, heavily built man who embodies the archetype of a blind, fanatical neo-Nazi, strictly obedient to his superiors. During a drunken celebration aboard the group's vessel, Revy and Dutch boarded to search for the painting and eliminate the A.S.U. members. Stanford ran into Revy while her pistols were empty. He foolishly boasted about her weakness and brandished a customized, gold-plated Luger, arrogantly claiming she could not even lift it. Unseen by him, Revy was reloading her weapons. She responded by shooting him in the head, a move intended both to kill him and to silence his bragging.
