Martini, Bianca
Summary
Bianca is the sole daughter of Viscount Vittorio and Viscountess Patrizia Martini, and the younger sister of Alfredo. Raised in the Martini mansion in Piedmont, she was a tomboy who possessed talents in dancing and playing the piano. Her family enjoyed a peaceful existence until Maurizio and Grazela Martini, relatives driven by greed for the family’s treasures, particularly the Martini medal, set fire to the mansion. During the blaze, Bianca and Alfredo escaped with the medal, but their parents perished in the flames. The villains hunted the orphaned siblings to retrieve the medal and framed them for the arson, leaving them wanted by the police. To avoid recognition by Maurizio and Grazela, Bianca cut her long, curly, blonde hair at Alfredo’s urging. A month after the tragedy, the exhausted siblings stumbled upon a farm village where they could no longer walk. A farmer rescued them, but their respite was short-lived as Luini, known as the "God of Death," appeared in the village. To protect Bianca, Alfredo signed a contract with Luini and traveled to Milan to work as a chimney sweep, leaving Bianca behind in the farm village. Shortly after Alfredo’s departure, Maurizio and Grazela captured Bianca, using her as a hostage to force Alfredo to surrender the Martini medal. She was eventually rescued by Romeo and most of the Black Brothers. Bianca was then taken to San Babila Church, where she was reunited with Alfredo, who was already suffering from tuberculosis. Following their reunion, Bianca joined the Black Brothers as a special member. On the day the Martini siblings met the King of Italy, they successfully cleared their names and reclaimed their inheritance, as the king was convinced they did not murder their parents. Alfredo passed away the following day. During her mourning, Bianca visited Romeo, who had fallen into deep depression over Alfredo’s death. She offered him comforting words and embraced him, giving Romeo the strength to accept the loss and the responsibility of becoming the new leader of the Black Brothers.
