Balkus, Dr Hamical
Summary
Balkus serves as the Second Zoalord and the chief scientist of Chronos. His origin traces back to a shipwreck near the Isle of Silha, the home of Arkanfel. There, he discovered Arkanfel’s tomb, and when Arkanfel awakened, Balkus bowed before him. Recognizing Balkus as a loyal subject possessing extreme intelligence, Arkanfel appointed him a Zoalord. During this process, Arkanfel extracted ten Zoacrystals from his own body, instructing Balkus to oversee Chronos in his absence and to create ten additional Zoalords to command the Zoanoid armies. Since assuming his role, Balkus has engaged in battle with the Guyvers. He has developed Enzyme Type II Zoanoids specifically to eliminate them, relying on his telekinetic abilities and highly cunning stratagies to achieve his goals. To date, Balkus has not transformed into a Zoaform, leading many to believe he lacks one. However, in the film Mutronics, a character named Balkus underwent a transformation into a dragon-like Zoaform, though many Guyver fans disregard the movie as non-canon.
