Kusanagi, Takeru
Summary
Takeru Kusanagi is a first-year student at the AntiMagic Academy who wields swords and possesses the Magical Heritage known as the Relic Eater Series, specifically the Malleus Maleficarum Type-Twilight "Mistilteinn." He is notoriously clumsy with firearms, a handicap so severe it is labeled a "curse," forcing him to rely entirely on honed swordsmanship to grow stronger. Initially joining the Inquisition to prove that swords are superior to guns, his motivation shifted after being defeated by Ootori Ouka. Since then, he has continued his path as an Inquisitor primarily for financial reasons, driven by the need to clear his family’s massive debt and provide for his younger sister. He currently serves as the captain of the 35th Test Platoon, also known as the Small Fry Platoon.
