Summary
Fuuko Kirisawa is a sixteen-year-old girl with blood type B and a Leo birthday on August 2. She serves as Recca’s childhood friend and harbors a long-standing ambition to defeat him in combat, hoping to compel him to become her loyal ninja. Initially appearing as one of Recca’s rivals with this same goal, she fails to best him in battle. Consequently, she accepts the Madougu known as Fūjin from Kage Houshi, who also possesses the Oni no Tsume and Shinryo Shintō abilities, after demonstrating the artifact's power. However, Kage Houshi had implanted a controlling stone within the Fūjin, placing Fuuko under his mental domination. Recca eventually destroys the stone, liberating her from his influence. From that point onward, Fuuko retains the Fūjin and wields it for the remainder of the series, utilizing techniques such as Kamaitachi, Hayate, Kaze no Tsume, Kazadama, and Kazamori. Personality-wise, Fuuko is frequently perceived as tomboyish by those around her. She often faces teasing or mockery when she displays sensitive or feminine traits. Despite this exterior, she holds a deep respect for human life and strongly despises individuals who treat it carelessly. This value is prominently displayed when she confronts an opponent named Fujimaru, who declares that he would kill anyone, including women and children, to secure victory.
