Summary
Known as the Iron Giant, Emet is a robot constructed during the era of the Void Century and served as a companion to Joy Boy. Following that ancient period, the automaton remained largely inactive until two specific reactivations. The first occurred two centuries ago when Emet nearly launched an assault on Mary Geoise before being secretly transported to Egghead. In the present timeline, the giant was stationed there to safeguard a prerecorded video message from Vegapunk, which was broadcast from inside its body. Upon hearing the Drums of Liberation struck by Monkey D. Luffy, Emet reactivated once more and joined the Straw Hat Pirates in their fight against the Five Elders.
