Summary
Bellemere serves as the adoptive mother to Nami and Nojiko, appearing in flashbacks during the Arlong arc. A former Marine, she discovered the two sisters amidst the ruins of a town following a major battle. Choosing to leave her military service, she raised them as her own daughters to escape the death and destruction associated with Marine life.
