Summary
Tokidoki is a relaxed high schooler who fits in well with new environments. His parents sent him to boarding school as a child and rarely contacted him, leaving him to be raised by Suoh Kuwata, a delinquent, and a young woman named Chitose. Although Suoh eventually passed away, he remained a significant figure in Tokidoki’s life. His childhood friend is Momiji, and he maintains contact with Hashita, a police officer working for Sendai Corp. Struggling with history, Tokidoki is transported to a virtual reality simulation of the Edo period. There, he loses the sight in his left eye after an encounter with the nue and yakou, becoming trapped in the digital world. Known as the "hakutaku" or unwritten page within this simulation, his destiny is not predicted by Heaven's Net.
