Summary
Kars serves as the leader of the Pillar Men, characterized by his intelligence, ruthlessness, and single-minded pursuit of the Red Stone of Aja. Although he displays apathy toward humans and no hesitation in killing them, he surprisingly exhibits compassion for other living creatures. This is demonstrated in Switzerland when he sliced a car in half to save a puppy and later adjusted his trajectory during a long fall to avoid crushing a patch of flowers at the bottom of a cliff. His abilities are centered on light; he can generate bladed appendages from his arms to reflect blinding beams at his foes. Like all Pillar Men, he also possesses extensive control over his own body. He is named after the 1980s new wave band The Cars.
