Oz Vessalius is the protagonist of Pandora Hearts and a fifteen-year-old male standing at 164 cm. Born on December 26 with blond hair and green eyes, he hails from the prestigious Vessalius family, where his father serves as the reigning lord. Although his mother was killed by the Nightray family, Oz maintains a bright, optimistic, and energetic demeanor. His journey begins when he is dragged into the Abyss on his fifteenth birthday during an adulthood ceremony, accused of the sin of "existing." In this dark realm, he encounters the chain Alice and forms a contract with her.
