Star Detective Precure Film Reveals Final Visual and Theater-Only Form

The latest Precure theatrical case just got its last big clue. Official channels for Star Detective Precure! The Movie: The Mysterious Garden and a Secret Pair posted a final visual today that finally plants Cure Arcana in the garden lineup, weeks ahead of the film’s September 18 opening in Japan.

The same drop unveils a movie-only transformation for team lead Cure Answer. Feature character designer Emiko Miyamoto dressed the detective in a sleeker look with light golden wings — a Future Form the studio says will not appear on television. Matching upgrades for Cure Mystic, Cure Eclair, and Cure Arcana are still under wraps.

That Arcana cameo is doing extra work for anyone following the Sunday broadcast. In the episode that aired the same day, Nao Toyama’s Aruruka Mori is still operating as Cure Arcana Shadow with the Phantom Thieves Guild. The new poster already treats her white-clad true form as part of the theatrical ensemble, teasing how the garden mystery will pull the rival across the line.

Advance tickets featuring the new Cure Arcana card art went on sale today through Precure Pretty Store and major retailers. Hanako Ueda directs the Toei Animation feature from a script by Yoshimi Narita, with Hikari Senga, Kaede Hondo, Ikumi Hasegawa, and Toyama leading the cast into Silver Week.
