Silver Link Boards Prisma Illya Finale for 2027 Send-Off

Studio Silver Link. is back in the kaleidoscope for one last ride. On Monday the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya camp locked the title of its concluding television project—Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya Finale—for a 2027 broadcast, and confirmed the house that built the franchise will animate the curtain call.
Series director Ken Takahashi steps back into the chair at Silver Link, with franchise veteran Shin Ōnuma as chief director. Scripts again fall to Kenji Inoue and Hazuki Minase, while Kazuya Hirata returns on character designs. The same core ensemble that defined the 2013–2016 run is on board: Mai Kadowaki as Illya, Kaori Nazuka as Miyu, Chiwa Saitō as Chloe, plus Sumire Morohoshi, Natsuki Hanae, and Katsuyuki Konishi as the Ainsworth side of the war.
A second teaser visual dropped with the news, framing the endgame as Illya and friends confront Darius’s world-ending gambit after the truth of Pandora surfaces. Silver Link previously steered four consecutive summer seasons plus theatrical side projects; Finale is billed as the last anime work in the line adapted from Hiroshi Hiroyama’s long-running Comp Ace manga.
For a studio that helped turn a playful Fate alternate into a multi-season brand, the 2027 window is both victory lap and stress test—one last chance to land the magically charged climax that fans have waited years to see fully animated.
