Seven Sleeping Beauties Anime Casts Seven Princesses for 2027

A charming new fantasy rom-com is set to wake up on television in 2027. Kodansha's Seven Sleeping Beauties (Shichinin no Nemuri-hime), serialized in Monthly Afternoon since 2023, follows a straight-laced prince who journeys to a small kingdom under a witch's sleeping curse. His mission to rouse the royal daughter quickly turns chaotic when he discovers not one but seven princesses who can only be awakened by a kiss.
The super teaser visual and main cast dropped today alongside the official site launch. Aya Yamane voices Flora, Yoshino Aoyama portrays Chiara, Miku Ito plays Claire, Ayasa Ito brings Mia to life, Kana Ichinose voices Charlotte, Fūka Izumi takes Yuka, and Rina Kawaguchi rounds out the lineup as Elisa. The seven voice actresses join a story built around the prince and the newly awakened royals sharing an unusual life in a slumbering realm as they hunt for the full cure.
Mankyū directs the adaptation at co-production studios Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ SMASH. Keiichirō Ōchi handles series composition and scripts, with Masaru Koseki on character design. The source manga by Fiok Lee has steadily built a following with its blend of lighthearted romance, royal hijinks, and lingering mysteries around the curse.
With the full princess ensemble now voiced and a 2027 window locked in, anticipation is high for how the serious prince will navigate life alongside his seven very different charges. More staff, trailers, and details are expected as production ramps up.
