HIDIVE Locks Tetsuryō! Railway-Girls Anime for October Simulcast

HIDIVE has claimed exclusive streaming rights to Tetsuryō! Meet with Tetsudō Musume, the original railway slice-of-life arriving on Japanese television in October. The pickup covers the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand as part of the platform’s Fall 2026 simulcast slate.

Before the broadcast start, HIDIVE will host the world premiere at Anime NYC on August 21 at 12:15 p.m. ET in Room 1A15 at the Javits Center. The announcement also came with an English-subtitled trailer, giving overseas fans a first look at the club’s rail-hopping itinerary.

East Fish Studio’s series follows four college railfans in the Railway Travel Club as they ride through a world staffed by Tetsudō Musume—TOMYTEC’s 20-year Railway Girls lineup of more than 100 characters in real company uniforms. Light-novel author Kisetsu Morita (I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level) collaborated on the original story.

Misuzu Hoshino (Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!) directs, with Aya Satsuki writing and Hisanori Hashimoto (Laid-Back Camp Season 3) designing the cast. May Tachibana, Mao Shōji, Haruna Fukushima, and Hika Tsukishiro lead as the club and perform the ending theme “Watashi Miraisen” as Tetsuryo Club. HIDIVE president John Ledford billed the show as a season-long ride with the Railway Girls—another exclusive on a fall menu that already includes I'm Dating a Dark Summoner.
