Dankatsu Loads January 2027 With Uemura as Zephyrus, First Teaser

The Winter 2027 slate just gained a New Game start. ABC Animation has opened the official website for Game Sekai Tensei "Dankatsu", the television take on Kaede Nishikigi's dungeon-job isekai, and used the launch to drop a teaser visual, a super teaser promo, and a hard January 2027 broadcast window.

Yuto Uemura is locked as Zephyrus, the 8,000-hour completionist who reincarnates into the very game he already broke. Nagisa Miyazaki directs at STUDIO MASSKET, with Yuji Kobayashi writing the scripts and series composition. Shuri's novel illustrations remain the visual north star, and Hiroshi Asagi's Corona EX manga keeps running alongside.

On paper, Dankatsu — short for Dungeon Shuukatsu no Susume — is a so-called god game packed with 1,021 jobs and more than 400 endings. In the story, that playground has barely been touched. After waking up as the protagonist and walking into a labyrinth academy, Zephyrus grabs the textbook Hero class, then learns even the high-level dungeons are still uncleared. Guilds, party scouting, and a job tree that treats Muscle Warrior like a hidden prize are all his to replay from a genuine first run.

TO Books says the novels have cleared 400,000 copies across print and digital, and volume 16 reached Japanese bookstores on August 15. Five manga volumes are already out. The new site is now the live hub for stills, staff notes, and whatever the production unlocks next.
