Arcade Romcom Game Center Girl Ends Its Six-Year Run This October

Hirokazu Yasuhara told readers on Saturday that Cultural Exchange With Game Center Girl has reached the end of its serialized run. Chapter 153, posted a day earlier on Nico Nico Seiga's Dra-Dra Sharp# portal, is the finale. Kadokawa will collect the last stretch — plus extra after-stories — in a 12th tankōbon on October 9.
The arcade romcom started as a Jump GIGA one-shot in February 2019, then hopped from Yasuhara's X and Pixiv feeds that December onto Fujimi Shobo's web magazine the following May. For more than six years it followed university student Renji Kusakabe and British claw-machine devotee Lily Baker as a Valentine's Day prize snowballed into language lessons, mixed signals, and a found family around the game-center floor.
Studio Nomad turned those nights into a 12-episode TV series in summer 2025, which Crunchyroll carried with both subtitles and an English dub. Cast members who voiced Lily and her circle, including Sally Amaki, have been posting farewells as the final chapter landed.
Yasuhara thanked fans for seeing the series through and teased personal events around the October volume, so the last credit roll is not quite the last token.
