During an archaeological survey conducted prior to the flooding of the area caused by the construction of the Three Gorges Dam, researchers come upon a roughly fashioned artifact. They determine that it was created by Mak-zi, also known as "McFat," an ancient Chinese thinker credited with numerous inventions that were arguably far too advanced for their era—including an array of electronic gadgets conceived long before electricity was ever harnessed. However, the artifact's crude workmanship leads to its rejection by museums both in China and overseas. Rather than see it destroyed, the relic is placed aboard a barge that drifts endlessly along the Yangtze River. The narrative then turns to Mak-zi's descendant, eighteen generations removed, a Hong Kong kindergartener by the name of McDull (Kwok Kwan Yin).

In a realm shaped by the traditions of Mongolian folklore, the story centers on Barter, a young warrior who reaches the Balin Grassland. After rescuing a girl from a horse stampede, he discovers she is the daughter of the local wrestling coach, who is employed by the region's lord. While working as a laborer for the lord, Barter begins training in wrestling and grows fond of the girl he saved. Yet his arrival is motivated by a hidden purpose: he is hunting for the man who killed his father.

In this eerie and sensual retelling, a woman lends her arm to an admirer for a single night, providing him with a source of pleasure. Adapted from a story by Nobel Prize-winning author Kawabata Yasunari, this minimalistic animation displays remarkable visual grace, taking inspiration from the art of Alfons Maria Mucha. It is a genuine masterpiece, brought to life by two prominent figures in anime.

In Nyagoya, a city teeming with fashionable felines, a hyper black comedy anime kicks off as cats mysteriously start vanishing. Takumi, an unemployed cat, goes on a quest to rescue his father, who got tangled up in these odd incidents. The characters converse in the Nagoya dialect, and famous landmarks like Nagoya Castle are shown.

Shun is compelled to engage with four people who present themselves as his friends, but he harbors a strong aversion to being around them. The sweltering heat and stifling surroundings only deepen his sense of hopelessness.

This South Korean animated feature, also referred to as Iron Man 007, follows four youthful heroes recruited by Dr. M to oppose the villainous Black Butterfly and an enigmatic extraterrestrial. The Black Butterfly organization plots to steal the valuable Element Q, and the team has the ability to combine their separate mecha into the powerful collective robot known as Iron Man 007.

A stone pillar stretches endlessly upward, with climbers steadily making their way up its surface. Each climber devotes time to the ascent, serving as a symbol of accumulation. This Graduate Work from 2010 was created by Nonaka Akifumi at the Department of Animation within the Graduate School of Film and New Media at Tokyo University of the Arts. The piece received the Silver Blade Prize at the 2010 Digital Creators Competition, the Entertainment Prize at the 16th Campus Genius Award in 2010, the Award for Excellence in the Students Department at the 2011 Miyagi Sendai Animation Grand Prix, the Incentive Award at the 14th CHOFU Short Film Competition in 2011, and the Jury's Special Award at the CREATIVE MARKET TOKYO 2011.

The Tohoku Regional Development Association produced an anime designed to increase earthquake awareness, stressing the necessity of continuous readiness and disaster mitigation based on lessons from the March 11, 2011, earthquake and tsunami. Running 60 minutes, the anime splits into two segments: "Sonaeru" (Prepare) and "Manabu" (Learn), both drawn from real events in Fudai village and Kamaishi City, Iwate prefecture. "Sonaeru," taking place during the 1970s and 1980s, follows Fudai village mayor Kotoku Wamura as he tries to convince the village council that a floodgate and seawall must be built. Using historical records of the 1896 and 1933 Sanriku earthquakes and tsunamis, Wamura's efforts lead to the construction of a 15.5-meter floodgate—the tallest in the Tohoku region—which later shields Fudai from the 2011 tsunami's devastation. "Manabu" centers on elementary school students in Kamaishi City during the 2011 disaster. This part demonstrates how the children's earlier disaster preparedness training drives them to flee to higher ground. It also emphasizes the local custom called "Tsunami Tendenko," which urges individuals to take personal initiative to escape to elevated areas—a lesson the students pass on to their parents.

Coffy, Daniel, and Okehazama-sensei accidentally enter a forbidden room at the rear of Tumulus High School's main building and are transported back in time. After returning to their own era, they solve the mystery of Okehazama-sensei's transformation into a fallen soldier, shedding fresh light on the famous Japanese historical battle, the Battle of Okehazama.

A planetarium program from 2001 for the Galaxy Express 999 series (produced by Minolta Planetarium), this work is presented as narrated illustrations in the style of a traditional kamishibai picture-story show. Set within the original Fantasma Solar System, it portrays an episode from Tetsuro's voyage aboard the Galaxy Express 999 after he learns of a faraway planet that bestows free mechanical bodies, and he travels there together with the mysterious and beautiful Maetel.

A planetarium film from 2023 in the GeGeGe no Kitaro series, created to commemorate the 100th birthday of its creator Shigeru Mizuki. JAXA employee Sora Yamamoto, who dreams of terraforming Mars, enlists the kappa Kaasuke by offering them the chance to become the first yokai astronaut in space. Kitaro and his friends join this inspiring adventure as humans and yokai together share the dream of reaching the stars.

While getting ready for the school festival, Coffy and Daniel practiced the Japanese lion dance for their exhibit. Abukuma-san shouted at them for being too loud. Coffy lost her temper and threw Abukuma-san's treasured bonsai at him. As a result, Daniel was found guilty of property damage. What will become of the trial?

In modern society, nearly everyone is lifted and moved by forces resembling a Sugoroku game, with "Parents" being the first to take that role. A boy matures along this Sugoroku path, a journey chronicling his reliance on his parents. Within this family structure, each member assumes a specific Sugoroku function: his father rolls the dice while his mother lifts him, leaving the boy to move forward passively. However, how long can this family system, modeled after Sugoroku, persist? Eventually, the boy resolves to sever his ties with his family. This is a graduate work by Tanaka Miki from the Department of Animation at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts.

The glass in one's hand chips with every attempt. Thus, everything must begin anew from the very start. Yet, there are certain things that can only be discovered through repetition. The answer lies within oneself.

Mayumi is a pampered girl whose parents purchase every item she desires. She gives the name "Mayumi" to all of her belongings, and over time her room becomes crowded with countless Mayumis. Eventually, Mayumi herself is consumed by the characters that spell out her own name. This is a first-year project from 2016 by Chinami Taniguchi at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Department of Animation.

In "Wonder of Frontier," the Super Titan 7—piloted by space scientists Dr. Tan and Mingyeongcheol—is heavily damaged during an encounter with the Red Army, forcing an emergency landing on an uncharted planet after it is pulled into a cosmic vortex. The rescue team, led by Gangbaksa, arrives aboard the Taihu Lake but eventually departs, leaving the 15 Super Titans behind. These machines continue chasing the Red Star population, aiming to learn their true intentions. Their mission also involves freeing the oppressed kingdom of Macedonia Carboxylic and restoring peace to a universe plagued by space pirates. The series highlights the unbeatable nature of the 15 Super Titans, who always emerge victorious.

A person does not know where to go but must keep moving forward. They have to reach their destination. Continually changing, their heart and mind wander and race toward that goal once it is found. The sixth Shimajiro no Wow! film (2018, 59 minutes) follows Shimajiro and his friends. They meet a fairy named Pokapom and help her return to Magic Island, where they encounter Witch Aura, who is reviving spring. The adventure is filled with magic, song, and dance.

This film follows the soccer team known as Pegasus, which is formed by visually impaired students attending the Chiba Prefectural School for the Blind.

One of the first examples of the tale is Hakuzan Kimura's Dreamy Urashima (Nonkinatousan Ryugu Mairi, 1925), in which a lazy man wakes up from his sleep and heads off to the seaside to spend the day fishing. There is a brief live-action shot of the sea swelling before the film returns to its animated fantasy world when a beautiful girl appears on the beach and lures him into the waves, transforming into the legendary turtle and carrying him beneath the surface to an undersea kingdom of fish and squid. Here he is welcomed by a bevy of kimono-wearing lovelies who lead him to a stately court full of musicians and dancers. As a ballerina pirouettes on the palace floor in front of him, he is plied with alcohol and handed a small gift box, before being escorted to a giant scallop shell that rises through the water taking him back to the surface. When he returns home, he finds he has aged so much that his wife and son no longer recognise him. He opens the gift box and a hideous demon springs from it and squashes him beneath its fists, at which point the man wakes up, and realising that the events of this story have all been a terrible nightmare, hurries out to work, alerted to the potential dangers of a life spent in idle daydreaming.

(OO) is a creative endeavor that investigates the clogging of the nasal passages and illustrates the immense comfort that comes with their unclogging.

Title: Gokusaishoku Nikuhitsu Emaki: Zashikirō Born in Asuka Village, Sakichi was looked down on by the locals due to his looks. Then, one day, he learns Reiko is stuck in a grand mansion. He gets in quietly to rescue her, only to realize that the mansion is rigged with all sorts of deathtraps and conundrums. Production on the film began in 1992 after the completion of Midori, with Harada undertaking the entire project solo and bankrolling it with his own money.Title: Gokusaishoku Nikuhitsu Emaki: Zashikirō Synopsis: Sakichi, born in Asuka Village, faced discrimination from the villagers due to his appearance. One day, Sakichi finds out Reiko is being held captive in a large mansion. He infiltrates the mansion to save her, only to uncover that it's a trap-filled mansion full of various mechanisms and labyrinthine passages. Production for the film began in 1992, following the completion of MIDORI, with Harada single-handedly handling all work and self-funding the project.

The anime "Tayutaum" centers on a young girl who dreams of turning into a bird. Its title blends "tayutau yume" (floating dream), "hakuchuumu" (daydream), and "aquarium," with the intention of immersing viewers in the sensation of gliding through the sky or drifting underwater.

This adaptation of the classic White Elephant story by Matsue Jinbo follows a compassionate white elephant who is deceived into assisting an individual, leading to a group eventually coming back to capture the elephant.

The Spirits of Cairn depicts a limbo-like realm where those who die in childhood end up. The main character regrets passing away too young, yet this feeling is merely a faint remnant, and he has no recollection of how long he has been there, why he is there, or what caused his sorrow. A notorious gang of thieves, dispatched by a well-known real-world treasure hunter, breaks into animated worlds with the goal of stealing their most precious and powerful relics. When the Boonie Bear brothers discover this dangerous scheme threatening their universe, they team up with Logger Vick and a cheerful archaeology robot to defend their home and retrieve the Deer Clan’s legendary Golden Antlers before the villains can seize them. Their quest leads them from Pine Tree Mountain to the enigmatic Deer Clan Forest, where they meet a host of wondrous and magical beings, including a mystical maiden of the Deer Clan who serves as the forest’s guardian. For his graduation project, Takashi Ohashi created a 360-degree time-lapse video of Daiba, Tokyo, accompanied by classical music, which animates the city's ambient lighting.

The narrative centers on the remarkable Benkei, who first encounters his eventual rival Yoshitsune—known as Ushiwaka during childhood—when both are young. Subsequently, Benkei vows to guard Ushiwaka, thereby becoming his steadfast lifelong ally.

In this 1986 film adaptation of the golf manga and anime series Pro Golfer Saru, the story unfolds at the whimsical Super Golf World theme park. There, Saru competes against the globe's top golfers in a tournament constantly monitored by the enigmatic Mr. X.
