This narrative follows an orphan girl named Candy. She possesses a kind, optimistic nature and a warm heart. During her early years at the Pony's Home orphanage, she became close friends with a girl called Ann. There, she also met the "handsome boy on the hill" behind the orphanage, who becomes a significant figure in her life. Candy is later adopted by the Loka family, where she must contend with the cruel-hearted Leo and his sister Eliza. One day in the rose garden, she encounters a boy who is the spitting image of the "handsome boy on the hill" from her childhood. That boy is named Antony. From that point, an unexpected and fantastic story unfolds.

Adapted from a brief segment of Edmondo de Amicis's novel Cuore, the story follows Marco, a young boy from Genoa, Italy, who resides with his father Pietro. Their family feels incomplete, as Marco's mother journeyed to Argentina roughly a year prior to seek employment. Her letters arrived steadily, but then they ceased without warning. Overcome with concern for his mother's wellbeing, Marco decides to set out for Argentina, hoping to reunite with her. Pietro initially resists the idea, yet his son's earnest determination eventually sways him, and he gives his blessing. And so Marco's emotional voyage begins. Throughout his travels, he crosses paths with numerous individuals, and through these encounters, he gains maturity and a sense of self-acceptance.

Chou Denji Robo Combattler V kicks off Tadao Nagahama's Romance Super Robot Trilogy, followed by Chou Denji Machine Voltes V and rounded out by Toushou Daimos. In the distant past, the inhabitants of planet Campbell abandoned their world to seek new planets to settle. A group led by the scientist Oreana reached Earth but was prevented from carrying out their scheme. Come the early 21st century, Oreana's faction awakens and initiates an attack to take over Earth. The only force capable of standing against the Campbellians' enormous biomechanical creatures is the super-electromagnetic robot Combattler V and its five pilots.

After alien invaders seize control of Great Mazinger—displayed at a museum entrance alongside Mazinger Z as emblems of peace—Grendizer engages the hostile forces and ultimately reclaims the stolen robot. When the Vegan empire sends a fresh general to oversee the conquest of Earth, he swiftly captures Koji Kabuto. Through interrogation, he discovers the existence of Great Mazinger and promptly seizes it from the museum where it was enshrined as a symbol of harmony. Now Duke Fleed, piloting Grendizer, must prevent humanity's once-guardian from turning into its annihilator.

Earth is in grave danger when the planet Zeraz, on the brink of destruction from a black hole, dispatches its inhabitants, led by Great Darius and his four generals, to launch an invasion. These alien forces cause chaos around the world. After an ESP warrior is killed by the invaders, Professor Hi-Tech creates the massive Space Dragon (Daiku Maryuu) and the giant robot Gaiking. Former baseball player Sanshiro Shiwobuki pilots Gaiking, while Pete commands the Space Dragon, a vessel that can transform into a dragon-shaped battleship with Gaiking’s torso forming its head. In battle, the Space Dragon separates to deploy Gaiking’s other parts, then recombines into an unstoppable form. The story follows the crew aboard the semi-transformable carrier Daiku Maryuu and the Super Mecha Gaiking as they fight against the alien forces from the dying planet Zeraz. Gaiking is piloted by ex-baseball star Sanshiro Tsuwabuki (called Aries Astonopolis in the English version), and the carrier is known as the "Great Space Dragon." Notably, Gaiking is one of the few super robot series set in real-world locations outside Japan and is the first series to feature a mobile carrier for its main robots.

Manga Nippon Mukashibanashi is an anthology television series that presents anime adaptations of classic Japanese folktales. It stands as one of Japan's longest-running TV programs and was the second series produced by Group Tac, following their documentary anime The Road to Munich about the 1972 Olympics. A revolutionary approach at the time, each episode was helmed by a different creative team, intended to give every story its own unique look and feel. Narrated by its namesake character, a boy with cat-like eyes who is loathed by both humans and demons, this story sees him drawn into horrifying incidents that involve monsters and children.

Ken Hayabusa is a racing driver and the son of Engineer Hayabusa, who designed the race car and its interchangeable engine, the Hayabusa Special. Ken races for the Sayong team in the machine built by his father, competing in mixed events that combine rally and endurance racing. His most formidable rivals are the members of the Black Shadow team, especially its mysterious owner and patron, Ayabe Mobil Dick. Five teenagers from Edo City go to a strange rocky island, where they uncover the mecha that Doctor Hoarai had been developing to defend against an imminent invasion by a race of subterranean rock people. The scientific community had mocked Doctor Hoarai for his warnings that such an attack would occur. The teenagers decide to help the doctor—who had died but transferred his consciousness into a computer—by piloting the vehicles and protecting Earth. Thus, the Gowapper 5 Godam team is formed! With the giant combat robot Godam at their side, the Gowapper team, led by Yoko Misaki, must confront the endless ranks of the inhuman subterranean beings.

This series depicts the daily exploits of Little Lulu, Tubby, and their other companions. Key recurring elements taken from the original comics are the competition between boys and girls, Tubby's clubhouse, and various troubles caused by the Westside Gang.

Initially, the program ran for 18 episodes, covering 36 tales, before being canceled. It later resumed broadcasting with an additional 8 episodes, which contributed another 16 stories. The anime kept a family-friendly tone and was backed by the Seibu Department Store chain, which attached a "Seibu Family Gekijou" label to every episode, mimicking the well-known format of the Calpis Family Gekijou connected to the World Masterpiece Theater anime series.
