Memories brings together three separate short films, each belonging to a different genre. Magnetic Rose Deep in space, engineers Heintz Beckner and Miguel Costrela answer a distress call that leads them to a massive, abandoned space station. Inside, they discover a dilapidated mansion and begin investigating, uncovering a dark history tied to Eva Friedel, a renowned opera singer with a tragic past. As they endure tormenting hallucinations, they must fight to hold on to their sanity and escape the station alive. Stink Bomb Nobuo Tanaka, a clumsy lab technician, takes some pills from his lab to treat a cold. Unaware that these experimental pills make his flatulence fatally potent, he accidentally kills everyone around him. His superiors order him to flee to the company's headquarters in Tokyo. With his deadly odor growing stronger, Nobuo struggles to evade relentless pursuit by the police, military, and international enemies. Cannon Fodder Set in a fortress city bristling with cannons, a young boy dreams of surpassing his father and gaining respect as an artillery officer. Despite a lack of evidence pointing to an opposing nation, he eagerly takes part in the city's daily cannon drills. His ambition to fire a cannon for his homeland drives him through every moment, whether at school or just before sleep.

Long ago, the powerful sorcerer Enno Ozuno fought against the wicked demon deity Karuma. Realizing he could not defeat her alone, Enno called upon Zenki, a mighty guardian demon, for assistance. After Karuma was vanquished, Enno sealed Zenki inside a pillar within his temple. Twelve hundred years later, Enno's descendant Chiaki makes a living by giving tours around the town of Shikigami-cho and performing exorcisms. One day, two burglars break into the Ozuno temple, intending to break a seal and steal its valuables. Instead of treasure, they unleash a malevolent spirit that possesses them, transforming them into monstrous creatures. These possessed beings run amok through the temple, putting Chiaki in danger. To safeguard Shikigami-cho from these monsters and the evil forces that emerge, Chiaki must awaken her family's latent powers to summon Zenki and face this threat directly.

A satanic program is triggered aboard a crowded commercial flight heading to Tokyo, releasing a swarm of invisible demons that send the aircraft crashing in a fiery inferno. Everyone on board dies instantly—except for Akito Kobayashi, the owner of that devilish program and a sworn ally of hell. Kojiro Soma, an old elementary school friend of Akito's, is surprised to see him re-enroll at their school. Kojiro notices how this once lonely boy has become a suave and arrogant teenager. Later, when his classmates are attacked and legendary demons return to stalk the streets of Tokyo, Kojiro begins to truly understand what his old friend has become. Akito has plans for the human race. Those plans revolve around magnetite, the mysterious element that forms the living essence of every human soul. Combined with his demonic software, a strong enough source of magnetite would release a plague of devils upon the Earth. That source exists in Kojiro's class, but when the evil plan expands beyond even Akito's control, it is Kojiro who must find the ultimate power within himself and go head-to-head with the greatest demon of all.

This OVA is a live-action/animation mixed collection of short school ghost stories.

Yamiyo no Jidaigeki includes two stories: "The Hill of Old Age," which centers on a conspiracy targeting Japan's unifier Oda Nobunaga, and "Seeing the Truth," which revolves around an assassin sent to kill Nobunaga's heir, leyasu Tokugawa. Both tales were broadcast as part of the Neo Hyper Kids programming block.

This OVA is a direct sequel released straight to video. In "The Ear of Jinsuke," a wandering swordsman rescues a noblewoman from evil spirits. "Prints from the Fall of the Bakufu" centers on a tomboyish girl employed at a woodblock print studio, who is tasked with producing a portrait of the young warrior Okita Soji.
