Synopsis

When Daichi Manatsu catches sight of a mysterious rainbow appearing near the Tanegashima Space Center, he instantly recognizes it as resembling the same kind of apparition that formed during the strange accident that claimed his father's life years before. Upon traveling to Tanegashima, Daichi soon finds himself caught up in the operations of Globe, a covert organization created to protect humanity from extraterrestrial threats. Though it might seem like a massive responsibility for someone so young, it turns out that Daichi's skills honed through video games, along with a special device called the Livlaster, make him perfectly suited to pilot the Earth Engine Impacter—a giant robot that may represent humanity's last hope against aliens intent on draining all life energy from our world. Fortunately, Daichi won't have to face this challenge alone, as he is quickly joined by a group of equally committed young people, each bringing their own unique talents and abilities to the fight.
