Fujiko Fujio A no Mumako

Synopsis

Based on the horror manga "Mumako" by Fujio (A) Fujiko. Fujiko Fujio A no Mumako is composed of three short tales. Each story has its own main character, who is experiencing some form of stress brought on by societal pressures. The only character who appears in all the stories is the supporting figure Mumako, who, at the conclusion of each tale, provides a distorted version of a wish that physically alters the protagonist. The titles of each story hint at the kind of transformation that takes place. In the order they appear, the stories are called Castle (城), Transformation (変身), and Slough (脱皮). Note: This was originally aired as a single broadcast on the TBS entertainment program "Gimia Bureiku."
