Synopsis

Continues the story of Magical DoReMi

Doremi Harukaze, a third grader at Misora Elementary School, considers herself the unluckiest pretty girl in the world. Her fascination with witchcraft leads her to a mysterious shop, where she meets Majo Rika and realizes the woman is an actual witch. When a human exposes a witch, a curse turns the witch into a magical frog. To break the curse and regain her original form, Rika must turn Doremi into a witch by teaching her magic. Excited by this strange turn of events, Doremi becomes a witch apprentice. Unfortunately, her two closest friends, Hazuki Fujiwara and Aiko Senoo, discover that Doremi has become a magic user. Worried that Doremi might turn into a magical frog, Majo Rika recruits both Hazuki and Aiko as witch apprentices as well. The three friends embark on many adventures as they strive to overcome the required trials and become true witches.

In this installment

After the first season ended, Doremi and her friends had their witch powers taken away and became ordinary girls again. As a result, they could no longer see Majorika, Lala, or the fairies, and the MAHO-Dou was left empty, with its gateway to Majokai sealed shut. Watching all this through her crystal ball, the Queen quietly arranged for Doremi and the others to go back to Majokai, using the excuse of returning Majorika's hair dryer. While exploring a garden, they discover a rose that is hiding a baby. The Queen then gives the girls the mission of raising that infant for an entire year. To help them succeed, she grants them even stronger witch powers than they had before. Their journey begins anew!
