Synopsis

Set apart from the city's hustle and bustle, Torishirojima is a tranquil island where time moves slowly. Hairi Takahara, a young boy bearing emotional scars, finds an excuse in his grandmother's death to leave the urban chaos behind and spend the summer on this serene island. Upon arrival, Hairi feels rejuvenated by the island's calm atmosphere, which differs greatly from his usual hurried lifestyle. Staying with his aunt, Kyouko Misaki, his plan is to assist her in organizing a storage shed full of items collected by his grandmother over the years, while his cousin Umi Katou is also around to help. As he gets accustomed to the island’s unhurried pace, Hairi explores during his spare moments and meets several unique individuals: the lively Tsumugi Wenders, the introverted Shiroha Naruse, the nomadic Kamome Kushima, and the sassy Ao Sorakado. Drawn into their lives and the island’s mysterious charm, Hairi experiences a summer rich with happiness, reminiscence, and pivotal experiences that will deeply affect him.
