In this installment
Following the clash with Doakuder at Soukaizan—the alternate world whose rainbow was erased by the devils—a Devil from the demon realm invaded Genseikai (the human world) and stole Wataru's conscience. As a result, Wataru lost his sense of justice and all recollection of his role as Kyuuseishu (world savior). When Shibaraku and Himiko escorted him back to Shinbukai (the other world where Soukaizan lies), his memories returned, but his conscience remained lost. To reclaim it, Kyuuseishu Wataru must take up the fight against the devils once more and save all of Soukaizan from ruin! Chou Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru is the third installment of SUNRISE's Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru TV series and is regarded as a remake of the earlier Wataru shows. It ran for 51 episodes, broadcasting every Thursday from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. between October 2, 1997, and September 24, 1998.
