Synopsis

At 28, Sumireko Ogawa, once hailed as a literary prodigy, now struggles with the harsh realities of adult life, including difficulty getting her writing published and making progress on her latest novel. As she resigns herself to the uneventful routine of working at a bookstore, her life takes an unexpected turn when she reads a verse from a peculiar book, causing her to revert to childhood. Eager to regain her creative spark and youthful vigor, Sumireko finds comfort in her newfound state. However, Ren Adashino, her colleague and an expert on the supernatural, warns that this change could be fatal if she does not read more verses from the mysterious tome. Sumireko reluctantly agrees to return to her adult form and joins Ren and his sister, Oto, in their investigations of paranormal phenomena. Despite Ren's enigmatic motives, Sumireko is determined to turn these thrilling new adventures into a successful literary career.
