Synopsis
Fourteen-year-old Kouichi Hayase has been living a rather ordinary and somewhat unpleasant existence. His routine of getting picked on by schoolmates and retreating into daydreams about becoming a hero comes to an abrupt halt when a mysterious incident gives him both a girl and a colossal humanoid machine named LINEBARREL. The immense power Kouichi gains throws his life and everyone around him into a whirlwind of combat, schemes, and comradeship. As he embarks on this journey, the boy begins to discover what life truly holds: he forms new bonds, says goodbye to familiar faces, and above all, finds himself burdened with great obligations and forced to face the reality of his world.
