The opening episode introduces the distant planet EYE, which possesses the power "to see things" yet is constantly endangered by hostile forces. Defending this world are the youthful warriors called "Eyedrops." The episode also explores the workings of human vision.

"Eyedrops" functions as an extended advertisement for Santen MediGuard EX eye drops, where the active chemical ingredients are personified as various CG female characters known as "Eyedrops." These characters are given the mission of protecting the planet.
