BNA: Brand New Animal

Synopsis

In a world where humans and Beastmen have long been in conflict due to the latter's ability to transform using their "Beast Factor," Beastmen were forced into isolation. Anima City was established as a refuge, intended to protect these marginalized beings from human persecution. However, during a celebration marking the city's tenth anniversary, Michiru Kagemori, a newly transformed tanuki, discovers that the city does not live up to her ideal of a safe haven. When an explosion shakes the town square, she encounters Shirou Ogami, a steadfast wolf who serves as the dedicated guardian of all Beastmen. Joining forces, they track down the attackers and uncover that Michiru possesses unusual abilities and a hidden past, leading to suspicions that she may hold the key to bridging the divide between humans and Beastmen.
