In a futuristic Tokyo beset by societal decay, the detective Shinjuurou Yuuki—dubbed the "Defeated Detective"—pursues cases across the city. With his mysterious partner Inga at his side, Shinjuurou employs his keen mind to crack crimes, particularly murders, leading to many arrests and resolved incidents. Yet Inga's motives regarding those who are caught seem dark, and the truth of the assistant's identity and objectives stays hidden.
