Synopsis

Continues the story of Hamtaro

Hamtarou is a small, adorable, and very lovable hamster. When his owner, fifth-grader Hiroko Haruna, moves to a new house, Hamtarou meets other hamsters and quickly becomes close friends with them. Together, they form the Ham-Hams, a group of adventurers ready to explore every corner of the world. While their human owners are away, the Ham-Hams go on various thrilling adventures around the city, from putting on plays to exploring magical candy lands. Meanwhile, the humans face their own challenges. Hamtarou interacts with many different characters, gets into tricky situations, and often helps Hiroko and her friends. Through all the excitement, he remains irresistibly cute. It's time for Hamtarou!

In this installment

The events of Hamtaro Hai! pick up after the original Tottoko Hamutaro (known as Hamtaro in English). It features the same 15 original Ham-Hams, with each episode lasting about five minutes. A notable change is the new animation style, which alters head-to-body proportions and incorporates 3D computer-generated imagery.
