Synopsis

Kim Yong Man, the princess of the Dragon King's underwater realm, has never experienced true independence due to her overprotected upbringing. When her father decides to force her into an arranged marriage, she runs away in search of a life without such restrictions, desiring a "normal" existence. She enrolls in a human high school with the ambition of becoming the top-ranked student. But Shim Hae Soo, the current number one, is displeased with this fresh challenger and is determined to keep his spot. Even though they are rivals, Yong Man and Hae Soo end up getting more deeply involved with each other, both in their studies and on a personal level. Could these fierce academic competitors eventually develop romantic feelings, and how would Yong Man's extraordinary lineage affect things?
