Green Days: Dinosaur and I

Synopsis

Refusing to accept defeat, Yi-rang deliberately causes a relay race to collapse despite standing on the brink of abandoning her dream of becoming an athlete. Around the same time, Soo-min transfers in from Seoul, and Cheol-soo, who aspires to be a scientist, enters her world. Though all are immature, they are immersed in the fervor of youthful ambition. In this heartwarming animation, directors Han Hye-jin-I and Ahn Jae-hoon support Yi-rang's aspirations, depicting the fantasy and flutter of adolescence through her encounters with kind people. Set against the backdrop of the '80s and '90s, elements like an old umbrella and a downtown railroad crossing serve as reminders of a lost past, evoking audience reminiscence for what has vanished. The film seeks to conjure the genuine "dreams" we have lost in today's society, where rapid capitalization continues to advance.
