Synopsis

Initially rejected by the art community, Perception Art has since become a worldwide phenomenon, expanding to engage all five senses and letting audiences immerse themselves fully in each work. Kazuya Yamanashi, the child of Perception Art's originators, inherited the same skill and inventiveness that marked his late parents. Now a first-year at Eisen High School, he aims to reach the highest level of Perception Artists. Beyond his career goals, Kazuya wishes to repair his relationship with Kyou Takise, a third-year senior and childhood friend—though their separate academic tracks at the prestigious school may complicate that effort. Fate reunites them in the competitive Staircaser event, where the winners get to represent Eisen for an entire year. To stand a chance against their rivals, Kazuya and Kyou must first settle their personal differences.
